  • I purchased some pottery as a birthday gift for my wife- I bought salt and pepper shakers, they are beautiful and she absolutely loves them. 100% worth the money to see the surprise on her face and how much she lit up at how beautiful they are.

  • Visited the Gorky Gonzales studio in about 1999, and loved it. Bought several pieces, and ate off Gonzales dishes in the family’s restaurant across the street. This time, purchased cat salt/pepper shakers for my cousin’s 20th wedding anniversary. She was with me in 1999. The cats were nicely packaged and arrived when expected. My cousin is delighted! Thanks. Would like to visit again someday. (My own favorite is my little frog cream pitcher.)

  • It is a pleasure to write a glowing review about our recent positive experience with Gorky Gonzalez.. We are most appreciative for getting to know the son of the master ceramist and for sharing our fond recollections of his dear parents, when we met them many years ago and purchased some of his father’s extra special ceramics. My husband and I remember speaking with his father about his studying ceramics in Japan. He was especially warm and friendly and took us on a tour of his studio and workshop in Guanajuato. Falling in love with the colorful decorative Gorky ceramics, we made several purchases, which expertly made it to our home.
At present what I particularly have enjoyed is corresponding with Gorky by email to learn about the Gorky Gonzalez workshop and how the master Gorky gave credit to everyone in the workshop. Gorky shared with me that in total at this time there are around 20 in total, wheelers, painters, people who polish the pieces, load kilns, office, etc etc. Gorky’s prompt email replies are much appreciated.
The reason I had contacted Gorky was to enquire about replacing the turtle box that we had purchased at least 30 years ago. As a result I entered into a warm relationship and correspondence with Gorky. Thanks to Gorky we now have a matching colorful turtle box and small turtle bowl along with our original turtle box on a display shelf. Gorky was also most kind to include a few Gorky Gonzalez catalogue brochures, which further explain the process of the workshop along with amazing photos of their recent ceramic collections.
All this because of our damaged turtle! Truly a wonderful adventure for us!

Please let me know how you like my review and then how I go about adding it on your website. TX!!!

    Have a lovely day,
